ATHLETICS

The Limerick County Track and Field
Championships were held in glorious
sunshine at the Track in U.L., on Sunday
last with very large attendances from all
clubs including our own St. Mary’s A.C.,
who had 33 athletes present. Training
has been going very well for the last
number of weeks and it showed on the
day with some very impressive individuals
and team performances. Eoin
O’Donnell won four county titles in the
100m, 200m, L.J., and shot with Darren
Jones and Ciaran English stylishly winning
the 800m and high jump respectively.
Well done to all the athletes.
Training: If the Rathkeale Community
Games are on next Sunday, then of
course we will not be training that day.
