COUNTY COUNCIL ELECTIONS

DAWN MASS
Dawn Mass will be celebrated at 6am in Kilscannell, Ardagh graveyard on Easter Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome.

WELL DONE
Ardpatrick Waltzing, jiving and slow waltz on Friday last at Ardpatrick. Denis Kenneally and his dancing partner Phyllis Fyffe came second in the intermediate waltz, third in the open jive and fourth in the open slow waltz. Well done to you both.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION
The church gate collection this weekend will be for St. Mary’s Athletic Club, your support will be greatly appreciated.

ATHLETICS
The girls’ U12 4 x 100 relay team from the local St. Mary’s Athletic Club had to wait six weeks from their victory in the Munster indoor championships for their eagerly anticipated debut in the national indoor finals but a nightmare journey to Magherafelt was the reward for the parents last weekend. However the long wait was put to good use on the track in UL and locally every week on the brilliant new Astroturf belonging to Rathkeale Soccer Club and the panel of six girls got their just rewards (and coach Jacinta) when the Rathkeale club team were crowned champions of All Ireland at the magnificent new indoor arena in the Ulster town.

TRAINING
Parents please note there will be no training on Sunday next (Easter Sunday and Munster Heineken Cup day), training continues on this and every Thursday evening at 6.20pm.
Dates and venues: Sunday, April 26 Limerick Community Games Cross Country, Rathkeale. Sunday, May 10 County T&F championships (all ages) UL 10am.

Historical Society
The GAA 125 History Conference will be held on Saturday 25th April 2009 at the Croke Park Conference Centre in Dublin. All are welcome.

Pieta House
Pieta House, Irelands very first centre for the prevention of suicide and self harm have been invited to discuss the possibility od opening a centre fore the people of limerick city and county. To investigate this possibility further the organisers of the public meeting invite people from the general public and those from the private sector to attend the meeting. The meeting will be held on April 16th at 7.30pm sharp in the South Court Hotel limerick. Your support on the night would be greatly appreciated.
